About the Band:
A little funk, a little soul, and a whole lot of rock’n’roll- mix it all together and you’ve got The Mellow Daze. This three piece band, from right here in Fernandina Beach, has quickly risen to popularity. Though this band has only been together for a year, it’s members Aaron Lane (lead vocals/guitar), Andrew Haynes (bass/vocals), and Zach Motes (drums/vocals) had an immediate musical connection and vibe.
From classic artists like: Frank Sinatra, James Brown, BB King, and Bill Withers, to modern ones such as: Cage The Elephant, Black Pumas, Alabama Shakes, and Frank Ocean- this band keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what they will play next. Blues, reggae, hip-hop, and RnB are just some of the genres that The Mellow Daze dives in to. The band also plays some catchy original music.
With the tight pocket grooving drum and bass duo of Zach and Andrew, and the smooth guitar, and soulful vocals of Aaron- you’ll feel the urge to dance and sing along to every song. “As a band we believe music gives us the greatest high, so come get dazed with us!”
