EVENTS COORDINATOR
Job Summary:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for designing, Marketing, selling, booking, promoting, planning, coordinating and executing Mocama events held onsite at both locations and off-premises. Including but not limited to the following events: private, charity, seasonal, holiday, music, wine tasting, industry night, draft beer release, can release, bottle release, festivals, beer dinners, anniversaries, sports and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- MOCAMA Events: Conceive, create, design, promote, plan, coordinate and execute.
- Private Events: Market Mocama as a venue for private events that fit the profile of events that are suitable for our property.
- Create Standard Operation Procedures for Mocama Events and Private Events to include standard information form, pricing model, event guidelines, staffing guidelines, and event contract.
- Create and maintain a database of vendors, partners and providers.
- Create and maintain a database of lessons learned from each event.
- Create and maintain a calendar of events that is available to the Mocama team.
- Coordinate with Mocama team well in advance of upcoming events.
- Ensure events open to the public are properly promoted on social media.
- Represent Mocama at every Major event booked (30+ ppl partial buy out, or full buy out) to ensure set up and layout is correct and Manage event.
- Reply to emails and phone calls requesting event space, provide quotes.

WILDLIGHT TAPROOM MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Taproom Manager ensures the smooth operation of the taproom by making sure that the taproom is appropriately staffed, that beer tenders have everything they need to successfully and efficiently complete their tasks, that the taproom environment is comfortable, that the beers are at their absolute best, and that unforeseen needs are addressed quickly. The Taproom Manager is also responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive experience during their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting the daily schedule for taproom employees at a minimum of one week in advance and for at least one week out.
- Hiring and training new Beertenders.
- Working with the Coffee Manager to ensure Baristas have all supplies needed for coffee service.
- Ensuring that the beers on tap are acceptable to serve (right temperature, optimal quality, no off-smells or flavors)
- Tirelessly making sure that taproom patrons’ needs are met quickly and efficiently.
- Creating and maintaining a pleasant taproom environment (temperature, music, cleanliness, conduct)
- Planning and executing special events in the taproom including Music, trivia, etc.
- Working with the Board and marketing department to properly market the taproom.
- Managing food truck schedule, catering (for special events), and creating and maintaining relationships with local food establishments that deliver to the taproom.
- Maintaining accurate taproom inventory (glassware, crowlers, merch, wine, cider, N/A options, etc.)
- Stepping in as beer tender and/or beer educator as needed.
- Working towards continuous optimization of taproom operations.
- Serving as team leader to staff of beer tenders.
- Playing the role of brand ambassador.
Qualities:
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Prior bar/restaurant management experience
- Prior taproom/bartending experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer, including a basic understanding of beer production (Cicerone Beer Server or similar certification preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to anticipate and proactively address problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership.

Working Conditions:
This position requires an individual who works under a range of circumstances, including shift work, weekend work, working with challenging patrons, working in the fast-paced environment of a crowded taproom, and working within proximity of an operating brewery (noise, heavy equipment, odors related to the brewing process).
Physical Requirements:
The Taproom Manager will likely be required to stand for extended periods when overseeing taproom operations and/or serving as alternate beer tender. S/He may also be required to lift boxes 35-50 lbs. and move empty/full kegs with the help of a dolly.

TAPROOM ASSOCIATE
Job Summary:
The Taproom Associate is tasked with executing service in our guest environment. Working with a team to ensure that guest needs are met must be this individual’s primary focus to maintain quality and integrity of service. This position is customer-oriented and requires the ability to multi-task while maintaining social engagement. Good communication skills are a must. The ability to be present and engaged for long periods is essential.
This position mainly consists of guiding our patrons through the options on our Taproom menu in a relaxed, friendly and informative way, sharing beer and wine knowledge, filling pints, flights and crowlers, ringing up transactions, clearing, cleaning, polishing and stocking glassware, wiping down and resetting tables and counters, sweeping, spot mopping, restocking bathrooms, and ensuring the taproom is clean and tidy at all times.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. This position is part-time and requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. Some workdays may extend up to 12 hours as needed. Some overtime may be required with wages being commensurate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must change into proper work safe attire
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Communicate with management and the taproom team throughout the day to complete daily objectives
- Monitor efficiencies and inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements
- Set up/tear down of bar at designated times
- Ensure that beers on tap are acceptable to serve (correct temperature, correct dispense pressure, optimal quality, no off- flavors); Report quality issues to Taproom Manager
- Tap kegs and remove empties from the service cooler
- Restock taproom cooler inventories as needed via procedural transfer of finished goods from production cooler to taproom cooler
- Ensure the bar and immediate bar area is clean and properly stocked at all times.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to ring up transactions as needed.
- Clear empty glassware from tables
- Operate glass washer, dry and buff all service ware, and stock shelves to ensure sufficient quantities needed for service.
- Reset tables by ensuring chairs are pushed in and menus are clean and available at each table
- Empty and remove all rubbish from garbage cans as needed
- Remove broken glass and mop as spills occurs
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked with soap/paper goods, functioning properly and kept clean at all times
- Pull merchandise from back stock areas as needed
- Fulfill mobile orders for pickup and curbside delivery
- Curate and help maintain a pleasant taproom environment (temperature, music, cleanliness, conduct)
- Ensure security of bar area; Does not allow any unauthorized individuals behind bar other than those authorized
- Set up taproom space as needed for special events
- Maintain knowledge about beer offerings through sensory analysis and information provided
- Able to communicate with clientele and assist with any questions, needs, or concerns.
- Understand and follow procedures to maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and rules regarding beverage and food service sanitation as stated by the relevant jurisdictions.
- Understand and comply with state liquor laws as they relate to serving alcoholic beverages to the public.
- Identify signs of patron over-intoxication, takes appropriate steps to alert manager and coworkers, and safely remediate situation in a courteous and firm manner
- Execute all other necessary tasks and projects as they arise
- Work with leadership towards continuous optimization of operations

Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application to be considered for the position

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. You’re on your feet the majority of the day, whether you are standing behind bar pulling shots or walking the cafe floor
- Use of hands to reach, grip, turn and perform precision work. You’re using your hands to operate beautiful espresso machines, pour delicious pour overs, and operate the register (among other responsibilities)
- As needed squat, bend, twist and reach for items below waist level or above shoulders. For example, you may have to bend down or reach up to grab cups, lids and towels
- Ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. For example, you’ll be handling bags of coffee beans, coffee kegs, crates of milk, tubs of dishes and trash bins
- Ability to smell and taste. You’re tasting and smelling coffee and food, helping ensure quality control for each cup
- Ability to listen and speak. You’re listening and speaking with our guests to take and fill orders, and guide and create experiences
